AS A COACH

My expertise as a coach is mindfulness, somatic intelligence and evidence-based tools that will help you practice resilience, embody confidence and feel vibrant energy and motivation.

Nichole Girard brings peace and thoughtfulness to life coaching. She inspired me to take better care of myself, to tune into what is working, to determine what I want to accomplish, and to create a structure to do it. She motivates and helps with accountability without assuming or unsolicited advice. Nichole creates a safe space to sort through life to help align with not only my goals, but also my way of being. I highly recommend her guidance.

Coaching Approach

My style is exploratory and thought-provoking. I’m down-to-earth and genuinely curious about your thought process, potential areas of growth and how you can reach your goals.

Coach Strengths

I’m a great listener, spotting growth opportunities, challenging negative thoughts and cultivating self-awareness for positive habit change.

Mindfulness, meditation and yoga

I was lucky enough to find an incredible yoga teacher and amazing human (Eben Oroz), and studied Raja yoga with him in a four-month-long teacher training with a focus on meditation. It was sort of like meditation boot camp (except way more peaceful).

Through this direct experience of meditating, practicing asanas and studying Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga for about eight hours at a time I was able to step into a level of consciousness that allowed me to touch pure bliss. A true gift!

I work with a lot of clients who have no interest in meditation specifically, but if you’re curious or intrigued I’m happy to guide you through an intro exploration.

My journey to coaching

I’m an early adopter who tries bizarre, radical things that spark my curiosity and deepen self-awareness.

I’m also a hands-on mom to a zany kiddo. I read about neuroscience, personal development and consciousness. I stopped striving for balance because it simply doesn’t exist. Instead, I see balance as the ability to handle life’s daily swings and the resilience to pick myself up again.

I’m currently earning a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Music Studies at Berklee College of Music. I hold two A.S. degrees for Recording Engineering and Digital Media, and spent over 18 years working as a visual and user experience designer.

I’m deeply fascinated by music, sound, and the recording process, and have been DJing for over 28 years across the U.S. and abroad.

I currently partner with Lyra Health as a Mental Health Coach, helping clients cultivate compassionate self-awareness and apply evidence-based cognitive behavioral tools for growth. I’ve also partnered with BetterUp, Kyan Health, and Oliva Health as a Professional Coach.

I’m passionate about the therapeutic psychedelic space and worked with Mindbloom as an Integration Guide, leading pre- and post-session integration coaching for clients undergoing at-home ketamine-assisted therapy, with a focus on integration, set and setting, and accountability.

I am a Certified Human Potential Coach via Human Potential Institute (formerly Bulletproof Training Institute), an ICF-accredited coach training program.

As an ICF member I also hold the ACC credential.
